Busy Leading Into Tax Time 2007

Can you believe the end of the financial year is nearly upon us?

We have been very busy at Computer Merchants. Life here has been a buzz of activity with the end of the financial year approaching. Here’s a snapshot of what has been going on:

• IBM have announced a new range of System i machines which we’ve detailed in another article in this newsletter. Many of you will be able to take advantage of the increased performance from these machines. After receiving the news from IBM that we are one of their top “7 Focus Accounts” we were off to Sydney to present to the IBM System p Team on how we can continue to work closely with IBM in the System p market space.
• Some of our offshore suppliers came to us and we certainly enjoyed hosting them. This proved to be a great opportunity for the Computer Merchants team to further enhance our relationship and for us to become more educated on the products that can provide more value to you.
• In early May we were off to Melbourne to catch up with some of you and host a lunch to say thank you for your continued support over the last 12 months. The lunch was a hit and it was great to see so many of you there.

As you can see we’ve been really busy and we know that many of you have been trying to finalise many of your hardware requirements before the end of the financial year. As June 30 is looming close if there’s still more you need to do please contact us - we’d love to be able to help.
