We have used Computer Merchants for several years as one of our major sources of peripheral equipment and upgrades to our network of IBM midrange computers. Throughout that time we have always experienced very professional, timely and effective services and advice.

The business relationship between DFAT and Computer Merchants goes back to April 1990. Over the intervening years DFAT purchased a range of ES equipment from Computer Merchants, this included 3174 and OEM Cluster controllers, 3390 and Ramac DASD.

Although we were initially rather tentative about obtaining remarketed RS/6000 hardware for our crucial systems which support 24-hour weather forecasting, Computer Merchants’ low prices and promise of good support tempted us to put our toes in the water.

The initial purchase of memory upgrades for systems in many locations throughout Australia went so smoothly that we have not hesitated to obtain additional hardware from Computer Merchants.

The customer service has been excellent, with fast delivery of hardware and quick response to any problems encountered. We have received very good value for money and can highly recommend this company.

It was great to see that Computer Merchants have made it to 21 years of trading. We have had many dealings with Computer Merchants over the years varying from large S/390 processor upgrades to simple 3270 terminals plus disposing of equipment no longer needed.
