Interactive Secures 1000th Customer

Interactive has signed Bank of Queensland as its 1,000th customer

It caps off another great year for the Australian-owned systems availability company and sets the scene for a big 2008. Under the new agreement, Interactive will provide Bank of Queensland with a workplace recovery solution for the Bank’s critical staff and IT systems. In the event of an incident that renders the bank’s CBD offices inaccessible or unusable, Interactive will provide infrastructure from one of its three data centres across Australia to ensure continuity.

Managing Director of Interactive, Christopher Ride, said:

Senior Manager IT Service Continuity for Bank of Queensland, David Morrice, said Interactive’s client-focused attitude was refreshing.

As part of Interactive’s objective to provide the best recovery options in Australia, in addition to its current locations, they have just completed a state-of-the-art recovery facility in Brisbane with a new centre set to open in Melbourne in June this year.

Interactive has services revenues in excess of $45 million per year, and grew by an impressive 23% in the last financial year. They aim to more than double this to revenues of $100 million by 2011.
