Rewarding Our Customers With Macadamia Nuts

Imagine this… you’re sitting at your desk, head down bum up, as usual and in the back of your mind you’re feeling a little peckish. As you turn to look around to see what else has taken up space upon your desk you notice a little white box.

You open up this white box, slowly, still with the thought of something little to snack on in the back of your mind.

You lift the lid, only to discover, one of Queensland’s finest exports - a nice packet of mouth watering Macadamia Nuts, and oh how
convenient - a lovely clear container from who else but Computer Merchants.

As you may have noticed at the beginning of every month we send out a box of Macadamia Nuts to our customers who have recently purchased from us, as a token of our appreciation. It is our way of saying Thank You for supporting Computer Merchants. Your business is highly valued by all of us.

We began the idea of rewarding our customers for their support in 1990

At first we started off with delicious Jelly Beans but then
decided to change to the Queensland Nut! These lovely mouth watering Macadamia Nuts are produced and grown in our own backyard.

The reason we chose Macadamia Nuts is because it’s a unique nut in itself, it has its own delicate flavor and crisp texture, which I’m sure we all agree upon.

And not least of all, they are grown in Queensland.

Our little process within the office is ongoing – having to make sure the supplies of our containers, boxes and Macadamia Nuts are full. We run a query on our AS/400 at the beginning of each month to list out the number of customers that have purchased from Computer Merchants for the previous month.

These boxes are put together by our Customer Service Team. The labels are printed and the boxes are handed out to the sales representatives and handed back to the Customer Service Team to be sent out to you as soon as possible.
