Since 1979 many of you have established a trading history with Computer Merchants. Some of you have been trading with us for over 20 years now! Our intention is to keep on meeting and exceeding your expectations for at least another 20 years.
Wendy Gilbert has been with Computer Merchants for over 21 years and has been dealing with some of you since she started. Consolidated Bearings Company has been working with Wendy for most of that time - in fact they’ve bought 14 AS/400’s since they started trading with us!
Our People
You’ve told us that you like the friendly, warm and caring welcome when you call or visit us. It’s no accident that you get this feeling! Computer Merchants takes a long time to select people who match the values of the company. And in return we listen, support, reward and continue to educate as well as provide a fun environment for our staff to grow.
The result of all this is that people stay for a long time.

Our Values
All of our staff have contributed to the development of the values we hold as important to our business. The values have been built over many years by all of our staff who contribute to them in our Training Manual. They’re not just developed by our Managing Director.
In fact the list of values we hold as important to the success of our business are now over two A4 pages long. If you’d like a list of those values please give us a call as we’re happy to send them out to you.
Our Systems
You’ve told us that it’s important to you to keep you informed every step of the way from the order to the installation.
Have you ever had the experience where you might order something, say furniture, only to find that after you’ve placed the order nobody is then interested in you. You’re not informed about when the furniture is going to be delivered, you’re not told when you need to be there or even asked what time for delivery might be convenient!
Once you’ve placed your order with Computer Merchants you can sit back, relax and watch it all happen around you. Our systems and processes are designed to make it easy for you.
