World’s Greatest Shave 2009Sandie decided to be “brave and shave” at this year’s Worlds Greatest Shave, one of Australia’s biggest fundraising events raising funds for The Leukaemia Foundation and we were all proud to support her.
Sandie had set a personal goal to raise $200 for the foundation but proceeded to raise an impressive $510! This will help The Leukaemia Foundation continue to provide practical care and support to patients and families living and dealing with leukaemias, blood disorders, lymphomas and myeloma. It will also help fund further research into better treatments and hopefully cures.
Kylie, Danielle and Mina were there to console Sandie’s crying mother and proudly cheer Sandie on as the hairdresser shaved off her locks. Then it was Kylie, Danielle and Mina’s turn to donate more money and colour their hair to not only raise funds, but to also help create awareness for the charity.
